Smart Steps is an online tutoring company that was founded by a married couple, Gutu and Feven, who are African Americans and originally from Ethiopia. They currently reside on the western side of Maryland, closer to BWI airport. Their aim is to make a positive impact in their community by providing academic support to students in need. They are both passionate about education and helping others, which led them to start this tutoring business. They specialize in math, physics, and chemistry, but they also offer support in other subjects as per the students’ needs. All of the teaching is conducted online, with PowerPoint presentations and study materials created according to their curriculum. Their team of teachers are highly qualified, holding degrees and master’s degrees.
